Dowel Top Balusters

The Traditional Series Dowel Top Balusters are available with a 1 5/16″ bottom square in 34″, 36″, 38″, 40″, 42″ and 44″ lengths. The turning length is 28 1/4″ and the bottom square varies with the overall length of the baluster. The bottom dowel is 3/4″ diameter and 1″ long. Shown here in a Post-to-Post arrangement with newel post, hand and bottom rail. Balusters are available in Red Oak, Hard Maple and Soft Maple.

Painted/Primed

The Painted/Primed Heritage Dowel Top Balusters are available in four lengths; 34″, 36″, 38″, and 42″; bottom square size 1 1/4″. Turning length is constant at 27 1/2″; bottom square length varies with the overall length of the baluster. The Painted/Primed Heritage Square Top Balusters are available in three lengths; 36″ with 18″ turning, 36″, 39″, and 42″ with 21 3/4″ turning; bottom square size 1 5/16″. Bottom square length varies with the overall length of the baluster.  Dowel size is 3/4″ diameter and 1″ long. These balusters are made from North American Soft Maple and painted white and ready to install or primed for a different colour.

Volute and Newel Posts

The Heritage Series Volute Posts are available in one length; 48″ and one bottom square size; 2 3/4″. Heritage Series Newel Posts are available in 48″, and 55″ lengths with bottom square sizes of 3″, 48″ with a 2 3/4″ bottom square and 48″ and 55″ lengths with a 3 1/2″ bottom square. All posts have a turning length of 21 3/4″ with an
8 1/4″ top square. The 55″ x 3 1/2″ posts are available with a 10 1/4″ top square. Heritage Series Newel Posts are available in Red Oak and Hard Maple. Selected sizes are also available in White Pine.
